These terms are the agreement between you and [BUSINESS NAME] for using Kept. By unlocking Kept, you agree to them.
A license to use the Kept trading journal app for your own personal journaling, paid once. Your license is personal to you. Please don't share or resell your license key.
Kept stores your journal in a vault you create in your own Cloudflare account. You own your data. You're responsible for your Cloudflare account, your vault password and your API keys, and for any charges from services you connect, like Databento or Anthropic. We can't recover a lost vault password or restore data from a deleted vault, because we never have a copy.
Kept works with services we don't control, including Cloudflare, GitHub, Whop, Databento, Anthropic and your broker's exports. Your use of them is under their own terms. Market data from Databento is licensed to you through your own Databento account for your own use. Don't share or redistribute it.
Kept is a journaling and education tool. Nothing in Kept, including insights, scores, replays and AI reviews, is financial, investment or trading advice. Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and isn't right for everyone. Past results don't guarantee future results. You're responsible for your own trading decisions.
We may improve Kept over time, and updates to the app reach you automatically. We work hard to keep the Kept website available but can't promise it will never be down. Your journal also stays saved on your device and in your vault.
[REFUND POLICY, for example: "If Kept isn't for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund."] If your purchase is refunded or charged back, your license stops working.
Don't try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the Kept app, get around the license check, or use Kept for anything illegal.
Kept is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for trading losses, lost data, or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Kept.
