Privacy Policy

Kept is a trading journal you pay for once. It's built so your trading data lives in your own Cloudflare account (your "vault"), not with us. This policy explains what we collect, which is very little, and what we never see.

Who we are

What we collect

• Your purchase. When you buy Kept, our checkout partner Whop collects your name, email and payment details under its own privacy policy. We see your membership and email in Whop so we can support you. We never see your full card number.
• Your license key check. When you unlock Kept, your license key is sent from the Kept website to Whop to confirm it's active. We don't store it on our servers. Your browser remembers it so you don't have to retype it.
• Basic website logs. Our host, Cloudflare, may keep standard technical logs (like IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

What we never collect

• Your trades, notes, journal entries, screenshots, voice memos, reviews or shared days.
• Your vault password.
• Your Databento, Anthropic or Cloudflare keys.

These live in your vault in your own Cloudflare account, or on your own device. The Kept app in your browser talks straight to your vault. Kept's servers are not in that path.

Services you connect

If you turn them on, your vault sends requests to Databento (market data for replay) and Anthropic (AI review) using your own keys and your own accounts. Those companies handle that data under their own policies. Your vault runs on Cloudflare under your own Cloudflare account and its terms.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising cookies or sell your information. The app stores your settings and your journal's local copy in your browser's storage so it works offline and stays fast.

Do Not Track

We don't track you across other websites, so we treat every visit the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Your choices

• You can delete your journal at any time by deleting your vault in Cloudflare. We have no copy to delete.
• To ask about, correct or delete the purchase information we can see in Whop, email [SUPPORT EMAIL].

Security

The Kept website uses HTTPS. Your vault is protected by your vault password, locks after repeated wrong passwords, and only accepts requests from the Kept app. Keep your vault password and API keys private.

Children

Kept is for adults. It's not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version here.
